the first Friday of July was upon us and at Homebase skateshop, we go ahead and let a artist put up art on the backwall and encourage the people to come out and have a good time.

July's artist was Eric de jesus and is a local to say the least. he has been in this area of the LV for many years and has done all that we wish we did or knew of to do, in this area. he plays music. does artwork. helps builds sets for Transformers. he has done it.

i have tons of interests and respect for this guy and all that he does. stop in a Homebase and take a look at his front window and back wall. it will not disappoint.

going away this weekend with the guys for a skate trip to ohio. some of my best friends through highschool and now, gearing up for a skatepark/ concrete trip. i will have to document everything and film some tricks for the homebase video.

last year Jamie , Arthur and i went out to see Sloth's first show in forever / 10 years alive in Middlefield, Oh. Dom is one of the coolest people you will ever meet. he hooked up the show. Arthur was almost arrested for skipping. my car was followed into town by 4 cop cars at different check points.energy drinks the whole way home. 11:30 at night till 6:45 am.

anyway, this was at the establishment that Sloth was playing at. one of the smallest hole in the wall bars ever.

some of the best people were there. and we couldn't believe a place like this existed.

really? look at this piece of fresh meat! not to crazy of a weekend. worked Friday and Saturday at homebase. make sure you go there. a swap old for new clothing and shoes sale going on till July 11th. simple. bring in clothing that will be donated to charity / half way houses of the southside and in return, get a discount on new gear.

let's see. hammered out a trick i been o.c.d with Saturday evening, and Sunday tile tried to record but jarod's gear was shitting out on us. we recorded 3 songs of 7. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and after the shop meeting at homebase, we grilled and welcomed two new duders to the shop team. bubba smith and jb.

came home and watched old school on TV which had me laughing pretty good.

now, a rainy Monday...burp.
